White House Press Secretary tests positive for COVID-19

Jen Psaki has not been in contact with anyone from the White House for four days

The White House Press Secretary, Jen Psaki has announced that she has COVID.

In an effort to be transparent, Ms Psaki says she refused to travel overseas on Wednesday with the President because of family members falling ill with covid.

Since then she has been quarantining and testing daily for covid, having returned a positive test on Sunday.

She last saw President Biden on Tuesday while wearing a mask and maintaining social distancing.

The Press Secretary is vaccinated and says she has only experienced mild symptoms, allowing her to work from home.

She plans to return to the office after receiving a negative rapid test following her ten day quarantine.
