Newly-minted Chancellor Jeremy Hunt will deliver his medium-term fiscal plan later today
It follows Liz Truss sacking Kwasi Karteng late last week, after a month in the role.
Meanwhile, three Tory MPs are pushing Truss to resign in the wake of the country’s economic turmoil.
The Daily Mail reports these MPs will try to push Truss out of the top job later this week.
Labor Leader, Sir Keir Starmer is also calling on Truss to face parliament.
But the new Chancellor is urging the party to unite behind her, as the pair held crunch talks to thrash out plans on tax and spending.
It comes despite speculation that Hunt is now sailing the conservative ship.
