The White House celebrates Easter in style with the return of their iconic Easter bunnies

U.S. President Joe Biden was speaking with reporters and guests during the Easter Egg roll when he was interrupted by a furry friend.

It was convenient timing as Biden was commenting on Afghanistan and Pakistan when a person dressed as a bunny hopped into the conversation.

The identity of the bunny is unknown but some Republicans have criticised the move, saying that such a serious discussion shouldn’t have been interrupted and criticising the disrespect towards Biden.

On a lighter note, many have taken to Twitter to discuss Biden’s reaction to the bunny responding in a slightly comical way.

White House Press Briefing room was slightly more cheerful, with the bunny making a surprise appearance.

The guest took to the podium carrying a briefing binder emblazoned with a carrot, shortly followed by White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki.
