Administration moves to vaccinate 70 percent of adult citizens by Independence Day.

As America’s vaccine rollout program continues right across the country, Biden has announced a new ambitious traget.

He plans to have 70 percent of adults vaccinated with at least one dose of a Covid-19 vaccine by Independence Day.

The July 4 target comes at a time where the Biden administration ramps up efforts to enable the vaccine to be accessible to smaller communities within rural areas.

The American President has also announced that he wants 160 million citizens fully vaccinated by the same date.

Although he admitted the rate of vaccinations is slowing, he says this is because millions have already recieved the jab.

However, Americans are also becoming increasingly vaccine-hesitant in the wake of blood clot fears.

The next goal for the President to reach Americans that are hesitant to get inoculated with the next phase set to use a range of encouragement strategies.

Meanwhile, it’s also speculated former president Donald Trump is keen to make a commercial to reach vaccine-hesitant republicans.
