It’s been a tough 15 months for the international fleet of United Airlines

United Airlines is delaying the return of its Boeing Triple Seven Jets that have Pratt and Whitney engines.

The airline grounded its fleet after an engine blew up mid air back in February 2021.

The incident showered debris over nearby cities forcing the airline to take drastic action.

Although no one was injured an investigation by America’s aviation watchdog is continuing as well as inspections of each aircraft to ensure they are safe to fly.

Other carriers, including American Airlines have also conducted similar inspections due to the incident.

United hopes that the aircraft will return to service by the end of the year.
