One in three children are lying about their age online, that’s according to one new study.

Researchers found kids as young as 8 are pushing up their age to access adult content.

The UK’s regulator Of-COM commissioned the report, which found children may be looking at some content that’s harmful.

Most social media sites have a ban on children under the age of 13 from signing up.

Other accounts have limited functions for children under the age of 18.
