So why was the U.S. Supreme Court split on letting President Biden reining them in?

They’re known as Ghost Guns – privately made firearms – that can be built without any background checks.

As the debate around gun control has heated up in recent years in the U.S. these weapons have become a real sticking point.

And now the U.S. Supreme Court has upheld Biden’s attempts to regulate these weapons in a 5-4 decision with Chief Justice John Roberts and fellow conservative Justice Amy Coney Barrett joining the court’s three liberal justices.

But what impact will this decision have and what’s next to roll out these changes?
