Some of the sensitive documents related to Ukraine’s military capabilities and shortcomings

Has another version of WikiLeaks just occurred?

That’s the question U.S. national security agencies are are now asking themselves after some of the most sensitive secrets about the government and their diplomacy were leaked.

Investigators are also working to determine what person or group might have had the ability and motivation to release the intelligence reports.

Some of the most sensitive information relates to Ukraine’s military capabilities and shortcomings.

The Department of Justice has opened a criminal investigation into the disclosure of the documents.

John Kirby hopes journalists won’t be releasing any information about the reports, if they are presented with information.

“This is information that has no business in the public domain,” Kirby said at a White House press conference.

“It has no business on the front pages of newspapers or on television.”
