U.S. FDA to approve mixing and matching of COVID vaccines

The FDA approved Pfizer and BioNTech booster shots in September to some high-risk Americans and those aged 65 and older

Moderna vaccine 'strongly protects' children from COVID

The Food and Drug Administration is planning on allowing people to receive a COVID vaccine booster shot that’s different to the one they initially received, according to The New York Times.

The government would not give preference to specific shots but doctors would still recommend receiving the same vaccine for all jabs when possible.

This has been prompted by recent findings on the “mix and match” study that were presented to the the expert advisory committee to the FDA.

The study showed that one dose of Johnson & Johnson followed by a Moderna booster saw antibody levels rise 76-fold in 15 days compared with only a fourfold increase after two doses of Johnson & Johnson.

Booster shots will soon be available to a wider range of Americans with the FDA to announce their recommendations on Wednesday.

American home prices are rising at faster pace now than in the last 20-years.

A recent analysis reveals a jaw dropping surge in the cost of American homes.

Since the start of 2020, U.S. home prices have surged 47% easily outstripping the gains seen in recent decades.

On top of that, home price growth so far this decade is on the verge of surpassing all the growth seen in the 2000s.

Many experts believe this decade’s housing market frenzy was ignited by a perfect storm — the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic triggering an unprecedented rush among buyers.

Tom Hutchens, the Executive Vice President of Production at Angel Oak Mortgage Solutions joins Veronica Dudo to discuss.
