The US has eased travel restrictions for many countries as the roll-out of coronavirus vaccines continues.

Its public health agency updated its criteria, which saw 61 countries lowered from a Level 4 rating.

Destinations downgraded to Level 3

The CDC says: Make sure you are fully vaccinated before traveling to these destinations. Unvaccinated travelers should avoid nonessential travel to these destinations.

Most passengers from the UK are still banned from travelling to the US.

Travelers from the US can visit the UK but must self-isolate, that’s Because the US is on the UK’s “amber list” meaning visitors from America have to self-isolate for 10 days on arrival.

Although the UK is listed as a Level 3 by the US CDC…under a presidential order introduced last March, non-US citizens who have been in the UK in the last 14 days cannot enter the US unless a specific exemption applies.

The CDC says that it has updated its criteria to “better differentiate countries with severe outbreak situations from countries with sustained, but controlled, Covid-19 spread.”
