Two people are dead and four wounded as intense fighting continues in the Ukrainian city of Bakhmut

 
If Russia captures this area, it would be the military’s first major battleground advancement since July.

It comes as U.S. President Joe Biden rules out providing fighter jets to the war-torn nation.

Ukraine’s Defence Ministry is calling for a range of weapons to “defend and restore the territorial integrity of (the) country.”

Meanwhile, the situation in Russia is becoming more dire every day.

Vladimir Putin’s former speechwriter claims a military coup is becoming a possibility as losses in Ukraine mount and Western sanctions take a toll.
