U.S. President Donald Trump’s latest summit with Xi Jinping has ended with symbolic gestures but few concrete breakthroughs, raising fresh questions about the future of US-China relations.

Taiwan, cyberattacks, trade tensions and the Strait of Hormuz all featured heavily in the talks as both leaders attempted to project strength on the world stage.
