The U.S. is celebrating Thanksgiving and it wouldn’t be turkey day without the Macy’s thanksgiving parade

More than 50 Million viewers across broadcast and streaming, one of the nation’s most viewed televised events annually

New York is planning tight security around the 96th annual Parade in the wake of mass shootings

U.S. Police told media that there’s no known, credible threat to the event itself.

Dubbed the most famous parade, heavy weapons teams, explosives detection dogs and even a bomb squad is part of the huge security operation.

16 Giant character helium balloons will fly above New York City, including Bluey from a smash hit kids show down under

Macy’s CEO Jeff Gennette promised the parade will be “bigger and better this year than ever before” — balloons, floats, marching bands, Broadway casts, Radio City Rockettes and, of course, Santa Claus will dazzle parade go-ers.
