Three dead after suspected terror attack in Israel

Three people are dead and several others injured following a suspected terror attack in the Israeli city of Elad

The two suspected attackers are still on the run, with one using a gun and the other holding an axe.

The attack comes as Israel marks Independence Day, a public holiday marking the country’s establishment.

It also follows a number of other terror-related attacks over recent weeks, carried out by Palestinians and Israeli Arabs.

It’s the nation’s deadliest period of attacks since 2006 as authorities urge residents to stay indoors and remain vigilant.
