Mariah Carey, the singer known for her song “All I Want for Christmas Is You” has lost a trademarking attempt
The U.S. Trademark Trial and Appeal Board has denied the pop diva’s legal efforts to trademark the title “Queen of Christmas”
It has been rules that the 52 year old singer also can’t trademark the names “Princess of Christmas” or “QOC”.
Such a trademark would have allowed Carey to use the title to brand a huge range of products.
According to the application she filed with the U.S Trademark Office, these products would’ve included fragrances, nail polish, mugs, and sweatshirts, just to name a few.
