The bill that will strip medical licenses from doctors who provide gender treatments
A bill that would ban doctors from providing gender affirming care to transgender youth passed the Texas State Senate today.
The bill which would stop hormone therapy treatments and gender confirmation surgeries passed 18 to 13.
The bill will now be sent to the Texas House would strip medical license from doctors who provide gender affirming treatment to those under 18.
The bill also prohibits puberty blocking medication.
