Tesla under fire after opening showroom in Xinjiang
Activists are appealing to Tesla to close its new showroom in China’s north-western region of Xinjiang. where officials are accused of abuses against mostly Muslim ethnic minorities.
The company, headed by billionaire Elon Musk, opened the showroom over new years eve.. but not everybody is happy.
This comes as many western countries have imposed sanctions against the region, in protest against the human rights abuses.
