Tesla will recall 362,000 vehicles over a potential crash risk

Regulators say Tesla’s equipped with Full Self-Driving Beta software need to be updated because the driver assistance system doesn’t meet traffic safety laws and could cause crashes.

The top Safety Administration for highways says the Tesla software allows a vehicle to “exceed speed limits or travel through intersections in an unlawful manner”.

Tesla will release an over-the-air software update free of charge.

The electric vehicle maker said is not aware of any injuries or deaths that may be related to the recall issue.
