Eight Starbucks employees are suing the company after being accused of criminal conduct

The unionised workers demanded a raise from their manager before falsely being accused of criminal activities.

The workers claim the manager pushed authorities to charge them with assault and kidnapping.

The South Carolina workers voted to unionise in an 18 to zero vote earlier this year.

Over 200 stores have made the same move, as the company comes of terms with accusations of illegal labour.
