We all know that the world’s universal language is music and that was proven yet again during U2’s astounding concert in Ukraine

The Irish rock group took to a metro station in the Ukrainian capital of Kyiv on Sunday to praise Ukrainians in their fight for freedom against Russia.

The lead singer Bono along with his bandmate The Edge performed for 40 minutes in front of a crowd of around 100 people.

Bono told the audience inside the Khreshchatyk metro station that the Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky leads the world in the cause of freedom right now.

He says “The people of Ukraine are not just fighting for your own freedom, you’re fighting for all of us who love freedom”.

And out of all of the cities in the world, there’s only once place he would want to be.
