Elon Musk hopeful this will lead to further space exploration

Humans may be one step closer to life on Mars after SpaceX rocket Falcon Heavy successfully completed its latest mission.

Taking flight from the Kennedy Space Centre in Florida, the rocket carried two satellites into orbit before touching back down to Earth.

Originally scheduled for Saturday, the launch was postponed by a day due to high winds.

It’s the fifth flight overall for the Falcon Heavy, with the spacecraft making its debut back in 2018.

Reposting footage of the successful landing, SpaceX CEO, Elon Musk says this is how the company will one day land on Mars.
