As the aviation sector reboots, airfares have never been higher
After months of pandemic-related restrictions and consumer caution, the aviation sector is back.
International borders are open, profit margins are healthy and jets are once again crammed with passengers.
It’s a far cry from the days of widespread job losses, baggage handling chaos, cancellations and delays.
But it’s not all good news.
Flight prices are at historic highs and experts warn they’re only going to get more expensive.
So what’s causing this and is there any end in sight?
