‘Servant of the People’ starring Zelensky returns to Netflix in the U.S.

Netflix has shown its solidarity with Ukraine yet again by making one TV show starring the country’s President Volodymyr Zelensky available on the streaming service in the U.S.

The 2015 satirical comedy series “Servant of the People” was created by Zelensky where he played the part of a teacher who becomes the president after a video he posted of himself went viral… condemning corruption.

Netflix announced the return on Twitter tweeting “You asked and it’s back”, with the show available to stream from Wednesday.

The series ran for three seasons finishing when Zelensky began running for President in 2019.

His new party was also called “Servant of the People” where he won in a landslide receiving over 73 per cent of the votes becoming Ukraine’s president later that year.
