As Easter approaches, there’s bad news for a major European chocolate factory that’s been forced to shut its doors

The Kinder chocolate factory in Belgium has been ordered to close after it was linked to dozens of salmonella cases.

Belgium’s food safety authority ordered the recall of all Kinder products made at the Ferrero owned factory

Suspected salmonella cases linked to Kinder chocolate have been reported in countries across Europe.

The recall is impacting countries right across the world including the UK, Australia, United States and Canada.

The news comes just a week out from Easter.
