Russians are looking for someone to blame

Russia recently voted to annex four Ukrainian provinces in an attempt to gain more control. However, Ukraine is not paying any attention.

In the past week, tensions have been high as Russia makes attempts to take over four different Ukrainian provinces.

This past Tuesday, Russia’s lower house rubber-stamped Vladimir Putin’s proposal to annex the provinces.

The vote was unanimous among the deputies who rose to their feet and applauded.

Just 48 hours before the vote, Ukrainian tanks had already rolled into Lyman- a strategic hub in the eastern province of Donetsk.

The same evening, six different Ukrainian battalions pierced enemy lines in north-east Kherson.

This caused quite a stir on social media, as Russian soldiers began making SOS appeals for emergency aviation support.

By the time help arrived, the Ukrainians were already at least 12 miles behind enemy lines.

Not without a fight

This aggressive move by Ukraine shows that they are not willing to give up without a fight. As of now, it is unclear what Putin and Russia will do next.

The recent events unfolding in Ukraine are worrying, to say the least.

It is clear that Russia is not backing down from their attempts to take over additional territory.

Ukraine seems to be ready and willing to fight for their land, but it remains to be seen if they will be successful in holding off Russia’s advances.
