The Kremlin is set to purchase millions of rockets and artillery shells from North Korea, as the war in Ukraine continues

Experts suggest the deal is a clear indication of how much Russia is suffering from supply shortages, due to both export controls and sanctions.

The U.S. warns the deal will likely be the first of many between North Korea and Russia, with relations between the two nations dating back to the Korean War in the 1950s.

Of course, North Korea has long blamed the West for the current conflict in Ukraine, siding with Moscow.

Meanwhile, as Putin pushes his armed forces to hamper the Ukrainian military’s use of Western-supplied long-range weapons, the U.S. believes the Russian leader has purchased drones from Iran.
