Revealed – secret action taken to limit Trump’s power

It has been revealed that secret action was taken to limit former President Donald Trump’s military power following the January 6 attack on the Capitol building

Two days after the insurrection, Joint Chiefs Chairman General Mark Milley moved quickly to limit Trump’s ability to order a dangerous military strike or launch nuclear weapons.

This is all according to a new book called Peril, in which the writers say Milley was certain that the former president had “gone into a serious mental decline in the aftermath of the election, screaming at officials and constructing his own alternate reality”

Worried that Trump would go rogue, Milley stepped in, calling a secret meeting at the Pentagon on January 8 to review the military action process and protocol.

It was in this briefing when the General instructed the National Military Command Centre to not take orders from anyone unless he was present.

Milley said, “no matter what you are told, you do the procedure. You do the process. And I’m part of that procedure”.

The January 6 attacks on the Capitol left 5 dead and many injured after protestors stormed the building in response to the 2020 presidential election result.
