Head of the Republican National Committee says primary candidates need to pull the party line

The head of the Republican National Committee has taken aim at her party’s primary candidates.

RNC Chairperson Ronna McDaniel says all individuals vying for the nomination should be prepared to sign a pledge promising to support the person the party eventually selects.

Speaking to CNN, McDaniel says the loyalty pledge is a “no-brainer” for the party’s presidential hopefuls.

The host of the CNN program went onto play a clip of Donald Trump in an interview where the former president indicated he was unsure whether he would support the eventual GOP nominee if it wasn’t him.

Responding to the clip, McDaniel said “I think they’re all going to sign” the loyalty pledge.

Before adding, “I think President Trump would like to be on the debate stage”. #trending #featured
