The 95 year old Monarch sprained her back… causing her to miss the Remembrance Sunday service at the Cenotaph war memorial in London.

Buckingham Palace says the Queen was “disappointed” about missing the event as it was her “firm intention” to attend.

In a statement she says the decision was made “With great regret”.

As per tradition, a wreath was laid on her behalf by the Prince of Wales.

The Queen’s back sprain is unrelated to her previous ailment that caused her to miss the COP-26 climate change conference.

Doctors had previously advised her to rest until at least mid-November but the monarch did resume light duties shortly after spending a night in hospital in late October.
