Would you ever be game to leave Vladimir Putin waiting?

Well that’s exactly what Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan did before the two leaders met in Tehran.

The Russian president was left waiting for 50 seconds, fidgeting and huffing impatiently.

Captured by Turkish media, journalists were quick to draw parallels to Putin making other leaders stand by in the past.

In 2020, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan was left waiting for about two minutes by the Russian leader.

The meeting is Putin’s first with a NATO ally since Russia invaded Ukraine back in February.
