The celebrities allege the paper was involved in phone-tapping and privacy breaches.
Some of the allegations include bugging private telephone calls, paying police for sensitive information and impersonating the celebrities for medical records.
The individuals became distressed after learning of the privacy breaches.
Meanwhile, it’s believed the journalists still hold senior positions of authority and power today.
The newspaper is denying the allegations.
