UK’s BBC Breakfast show host Dan Walker has announced he will be leaving the network to host Channel 5 news
Walker took to Twitter to share the news that he is departing from the seat of the popular breakfast show.
In the Twitter video, he outlined he would present “a whole host of new programmes across the channel”.
Walker has fronted BBC Breakfast since 2016, working at the station for six years.
Walker replaced Bill Turnbull when he joined the BBC in 2016.
This time, he will replace Sian Williams as the Channel 5 news anchor who recently announced she was leaving Channel 5.
