Police swarm after gunfire heard in foodcourt
Ticker News understands there has been a shooting inside the Hyattsville shopping mall, with police now on the scene
It is unclear if anyone has been injured.
It is the ‘Mall at Prince George’s’ which is located on the East-West highway as you can see on the map.
Witnesses have taken to Twitter to describe the incident.
One user says gunfire rang out near the food court and at least one person was shot.
Local authorities are asking everyone to stay away from the scene, but stress this is not an active shooter situation.
