Pick up your controller – the Xbox outage has been fixed
Well, If you almost threw your remote at your XBox today – you probably weren’t the only one.
There has been an error with Xbox consoles in Europe, which refused to launch games.
Xbox games were refusing to open or launch for many with an error message being presented instead.
The error read:
“The person who bought this needs to sign in,”
– XBOX ERROR MESSAGE
The issues started at around 1PM ET, and Microsoft posted the “All Clear” on its status page at 3:30PM ET.
The problems appear to have been related to the Microsoft Store, which was also preventing some Xbox owners from purchasing games.
We can confirm Xbox is back up and running, so you can go and pick up your remote now.
