At least 25 people have died in the Philippines in landslides and floods from tropical storm Megi
The storm marked the first to hit the South East Asian region with gusts of wind reaching up to 80 kilometres per hour.
22 bodies were recovered in the eastern province of Leyte after being buried under a landslide.
Three people also died in the southern Davao region according to the national disaster agency.
The police chief of Baybay city says six people remain missing.
The state weather bureau predicts that the winds will drop to 45 kilometres per hour and move further towards the sea on Tuesday.
