U.S. Pentagon raises fresh concerns about Russia’s Vladimir Putin

A Pentagon official, says that the Russian leader “likely still wants much, if not all, of Ukraine”

Colin Kahl spoke at a critical American Security event where he advised that Putin was narrowing his “tactical objectives in the war”

he added that Putin wants the whole of Ukraine, but did admit he doesn’t “think he can achieve those objectives”

The senior official also spoke of the unexpected Ukrainian military might and the potential of Russian beginning to fatigue in certain areas.
