Paul Pelosi’s alleged attacker pleads not guilty to assault and attempted kidnapping

David DePape, the man accused of breaking into Nancy Pelosi’s house and attacking her husband has pleaded not guilty.

During the 42-year-old’s first appearance in federal court, he denied claims he assaulted and attempted to kidnap Paul Pelosi.

Appearing in jail scrubs, DePape sat quietly throughout the six minute hearing.

He faces up to 50 years behind bars if found guilty on both charges.

The accused will appear again in court on November 30.
