Barack Obama has made a visit to his dear friend President Joe Biden, walking through the halls of the White House for the first time since he was in office

Former US President Barack Obama has taken a trip down memory lane returning to the White House for the first time since leaving office.

Welcomed back with open arms, Obama began his address in the East Room by jokingly referring to Joe Biden as “Vice President”

Receiving a standing ovation, Obama reaffirmed efforts to strengthen the Affordable Care Act.

“Feels like the good old days”

Obama said.

The former president acknowledged all the staff working behind the scenes, noting that coming back gives him a chance to say “thank you”.

Obama didn’t visit the White House at all during the Trump administration largely staying out of the political limelight since departing his post.

He reminisced about what his administration did together during his 8-year tenure, stating that nothing makes him prouder than “providing better healthcare” to millions of Americans
