North Korea has fired another “unidentified projectile”

South Korea’s Military says the projectile was fired into the waters off the east coast of the Korean Peninsula.

The type of missile and its trajectory are being assessed at the moment. But Japan’s Coast Guard is reporting the projectile was a suspected ballistic missile.

It comes a week after North Korean leader Kim Jong Un pledged to speed up the development of his country’s nuclear arsenal.

The leader was overseeing a military parade as de-nuclearisation talks with the U-S remain on hold.
