New York City officials say the shelter system has been overwhelmed by thousands of illegal migrants and asylum seekers who have arrived in the Big Apple.

 
Asylum seeking migrants have been camped out on sidewalks in Manhattan in the hopes of finding housing. But, City Hall says it’s running out of options. At this point it has opened over 190 emergency shelters including 13 other large scale humanitarian relief centers.
