New proposal for European Super League may feature 80 teams

There’s a new proposal for a European Super League, and it could have as many as 80 football teams in it

A22 Sports Management, the company behind the concept, was created to sponsor and aid the creation of the breakaway football league.

A22 held discussions with 50 European clubs and football stakeholders, and stated that change was necessary in order to preserve the foundation of European football.

The preliminary results of the talks suggest that a European football league based solely on sporting merit, with 60-80 clubs and a minimum of 14 guaranteed European matches per club, is needed.

Real Madrid, Barcelona, and Juventus were among the 12 clubs that attempted to break away in April 2021, but the move was met with opposition from fans, governments, and players, causing most of the teams to back out.

A22 aims to present a sustainable sporting project for European club competitions available to all 27 EU Member States as soon as possible.

The 10 principles that emerged from the discussions include improving competitiveness, financial sustainability, and fan experience.

American home prices are rising at faster pace now than in the last 20-years.

A recent analysis reveals a jaw dropping surge in the cost of American homes.

Since the start of 2020, U.S. home prices have surged 47% easily outstripping the gains seen in recent decades.

On top of that, home price growth so far this decade is on the verge of surpassing all the growth seen in the 2000s.

Many experts believe this decade’s housing market frenzy was ignited by a perfect storm — the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic triggering an unprecedented rush among buyers.

Tom Hutchens, the Executive Vice President of Production at Angel Oak Mortgage Solutions joins Veronica Dudo to discuss.
