Following the fatal shooting on the film set of Alec Baldwin’s “Rust”, new details are emerging about complaints previously made about an assistant director
The complaints made against the individual, Dave Halls date back to two movies in 2019 and include disregard for safety protocols for weapons and inappropriate sexual behaviour.
In a statement to CNN, a propmaker who worked with Halls back in 20-19 says that while working on Hulu’s “Into the Dark” the assistant director neglected to hold safety meetings and consistently failed to announce the presence of a firearm on set.
These new details follow the court identifying that Halls was in fact the assistant director who handed Baldwin the loaded gun on set.
The loaded gun was fired and struck the film’s cinematographer, who was later pronounced dead at a New Mexico hospital.
