Tech giants set to report amid busy earnings week

The Nasdaq surged on Tuesday, climbing 0.8% to hit a new record high, crossing the 18,700 mark. This jump comes as investors eagerly await earnings reports from major tech players like Alphabet, Snap, and Reddit. The S&P 500 also saw gains, rising 0.3%.

The week is set to be packed with updates from heavyweights such as Meta and Microsoft, both reporting on Wednesday, followed by Apple on Thursday. Anticipation is building, with shares of Meta and Alphabet climbing over 1% ahead of their earnings releases.

With more than 150 S&P 500 companies expected to report by Friday, it’s the busiest week of this earnings season. Meanwhile, attention remains on Treasury yields, with the 10-year yield reaching its highest level since July.
