Elon Musk has warned Twitter employees to start doing “extremely hardcore” work or get out

Twitter boss, Elon Musk, has told employees to commit to ‘extremely hardcore’ work or leave the tech company.

According to a leaked internal memo with the subject ‘fork in the road’, Musk gave employees until Thursday to shape up.

“Going forward, to build a breakthrough Twitter 2.0 and succeed in an increasingly competitive world, we will need to be extremely hardcore,”

“This will mean working long hours at high intensity. Only exceptional performance will constitute a passing grade.”

Musk asked employees if they’re up to the challenge, then respond yes by end of business on Thursday.

If not, they’ll be shown the door, with three months compensation pay.

“Whatever decision you make, thank you for your efforts to make Twitter successful.”

It comes at a turbulent economic time for tech companies.

It follows in the footsteps of Facebook’s parent company META and Amazon, who are also laying off thousands of employees.
