Authorities in Kyiv say the explosions hit a central district of the capital that is home to many government agencies and buildings.
The blasts come as Ukraine faced a barrage of Russian air strikes across the country, largely targeting infrastructure.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, in a brief video statement, said the “terrorists” fired 13 Iranian-made drones, and all were intercepted.
