Microsoft’s urgent warning to all Windows users

Microsoft has issued an urgent warning to Windows users to immediately install an update after serious vulnerabilities were detected in the software

Dubbed the “PrintNightmare” security flaw, Microsoft says it could allow hackers to install programs, view and delete data, or create new user accounts with full access.

Researchers at the company discovered the flaw and accidentally published a how-to guide explaining how to exploit it.

Windows 10 and Windows 7 are both affected by the vulnerabilities, and Microsoft will release an update for Windows 7 despite previously ending support for the now-dated operating system.

Microsoft says “we recommend that you install these updates immediately”

This latest development follows numerous security alerts from Microsoft over the past year… with the company seemingly unable to avoid safety issues.

In 2020 the U-S National Security Agency warned Microsoft that its Windows operating system was allowing hackers to pose as legitimate software companies.
