One of the world’s biggest tech giants is tailoring the daily news to you

Microsoft has confirmed it has rolled out a personalised news feed called Microsoft Start, which will be available both as a website and a mobile app.

The new feature will allow the software company to better compete with news feeds provided by Apple and Google as well as third party apps such as Flipboard.

Microsoft Start’s feed will aggregate content from news publishers and tailor it to users based on user choices, the software giant said in a blogpost.

“This personalised news feed and collection of informational content provides news from premium publishers, timely updates tailored to your interests, and is available when and where you want it. Microsoft Start will begin rolling out today and is conveniently available”

Microsoft stated on it’s website.

The technology giant added that Microsoft Start will build on the company’s online services including MSN, which aggregates news from sources.
