Microsoft is in talks to invest $10 billion in OpenAI, which owns the popular service ChatGPT.

The news underscores the rising interest in the artificial intelligence company, whose chatbots have been able to debug code and answer questions while imitating human speech.

Previously, the software giant had invested $1 billion in OpenAI in 2019.

OpenAI was founded by current Tesla and Twitter CEO Elon Musk and Sam Altman.
