Premier Daniel Andrews has confirmed the state has reached its first major vaccine milestone, with 70 percent of eligible victorians now vaccinated against Covid-19

This comes as Melbourne prepares for freedom day, with the city’s residents coming out of lockdown from 11:59 tonight.

Daniel Andrews says “because of everything residents have done… tomorrow Victorians can start getting back to the things they love… thank you Victoria, I’m so proud”.
