US President Joe Biden has announced his first nine judicial nominees, as his administration attempts to leave their mark on America’s federal courts

The total number of Biden’s nominees for the year is now 73, which is one more than former President Trump nominated during his first year in office.

But some Republicans have placed holds on a number of Biden’s nominees over the past 12 months, and House Leader Chuck Schumer says it’s seriously damaging to America’s national security.
